Model Essay #1:

Many schools face severe problems with student behaviour and day by day this is getting even worse. What do you think are the reasons for this problem?

In many schools, student behaviour has become a serious issue, and it seems to be worsening over time. This problem can be attributed to several factors. One of the main reasons is the lack of discipline and guidance at home. Many students may not have proper role models or parental supervision, which can lead to disruptive behaviour in school. Additionally, peer pressure and the influence of social media can also contribute to negative behaviour among students.

To address this problem, it is essential to implement comprehensive strategies involving both schools and parents. Firstly, schools should focus on creating a positive and supportive learning environment. This can be achieved through the implementation of strict but fair disciplinary measures, such as counseling and mentoring programs, to help students understand the consequences of their actions. Moreover, promoting open communication between teachers, students, and parents can also play a crucial role in addressing behavioural issues.

On the other hand, parents need to be actively involved in their children's education and upbringing. They should be encouraged to set clear boundaries and rules at home, as well as monitor their children's activities, including their online interactions. By fostering a strong support system at home, parents can positively influence their children's behaviour and attitude towards learning.

In my opinion, a collaborative effort between schools and parents is crucial in addressing the issue of deteriorating student behaviour. For instance, in my own experience, a school that implemented a proactive approach by involving parents in regular meetings and workshops saw a significant improvement in student conduct and academic performance.

In conclusion, the decline in student behaviour in schools can be attributed to various factors, including lack of parental guidance and negative peer influence. However, by implementing effective strategies that involve both schools and parents, this issue can be mitigated, creating a more conducive learning environment for students.

Model Essay #2:

Many schools face severe problems with student behaviour and day by day this is getting even worse. What do you think are the reasons for this problem?

In recent years, many schools have been grappling with escalating issues related to student behaviour, which is a cause for concern. There are numerous factors contributing to this problem, and it is crucial to address them to ensure a conducive learning environment. One significant reason for the deteriorating student behaviour is the lack of proper psychological support and resources to address underlying emotional and mental health issues. Many students may be facing personal challenges such as anxiety, depression, or trauma, which can manifest in disruptive behaviour.

To tackle this issue, schools should prioritize the provision of mental health support services. By employing qualified counselors and psychologists, schools can identify and address the root causes of behavioural problems. Additionally, promoting awareness and understanding of mental health among both students and teachers is essential in creating a supportive and empathetic environment.

Furthermore, the modern education system's emphasis on academic performance and standardized testing may also contribute to heightened stress levels among students. To alleviate this pressure, schools should consider implementing holistic approaches to education, focusing on individual growth and personal development rather than solely academic achievements.

In my view, a holistic approach that prioritizes mental well-being and personal development is crucial in addressing the issue of deteriorating student behaviour. For example, in a school I am familiar with, the introduction of mindfulness and stress management programs led to a noticeable improvement in student behaviour and overall well-being.

In conclusion, the escalating problem of student behaviour in schools can be linked to various factors, including mental health challenges and academic pressure. By prioritizing mental well-being and adopting holistic educational approaches, schools can create a nurturing environment that supports positive behaviour and overall student development.
